Greetings from Delaware

Hello and Greetings of the Season to you all. New guy here from Delaware, USA. I just received my 2017 Blue Trophy Se from National Powersports (no affiliation) on December 13th.  Ever since Triumph reintroduced the Trophy, my wife and I have been lusting after it.  The price point, however, was out of our league.

Fast forward to 2017 and I was looking at a shaftie to replace my aging but beloved 2007 Bandit 1250. I was very close to buying a Super Tenere, but I couldn't reach an agreement with the dealer. I already have an adv style bike in the form of a 2012 Tiger 800, so I really didn't want another type of that bike anyway.  When I saw the Trophy for a substantially discounted out-the-door price, it was classic case of "I saw it in the shop window and I just had to have it".

My shake-down cruise thus far has been a trip to the DMV to get it registered and tagged.  Wow, what a bike! My daughter asked what I thought when I returned.  My reply, "She's a big girl, but she's got moves!". 

I'm impressed by amount of knowledge passed on by the members of this forum and look forward to perhaps meeting some of you as we pile on the miles.
