    Hi from JerseyRider

Hello to all!  Having just purchased a brand new Trophy SE, I thought I would join the group and take a look around.   I sold my 2013 FJR because my hunch was that I would love the SE more.  We will see.  I could not pass up the low pricing out there for such a highly engineered beauty.

I need to mount my phone and/or GPS.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.  I have plenty of time to get whatever I need as the bike will be in hibernation for a while.  Thank you in advance.

:400: to the forum.  Did a test ride sell it, or something else?  Can't wait for you to do a comparo between the FJR and the Trophy.  I looked at the FJR and the seating position just wasn't comfortable for my old bones.

Sorry for the ask about GPS.  I see the rules and will do my research on the site.

Certainly, I will compare my experience with the FJR against my future with the SE.  I will also compare it to my Aprilia RSV, BMW F800R and Kawasaki ZRX1200R.

I sold the FJR because I was beginning to be successful in getting my bride to run along with me and she complained about foot peg height and interference with my feet when on the FJR rear pegs.  I know the SE is a little roomier and although it was 8 degrees F when I trailered the blue beauty home, she sat on the pillion and thought it was a nice improvement.  Although, I have not driven it even 1 mile thus far.  Looking forward to later in the week out here in the north eastern USA.

Hi JerseyRider and :400: to the Club !

There's a very useful Topic aboiut fitting the dedicated Sat Nav Bracket here :

HOW TO: Fitting Triumph Sat Nav Bracket and Zumo 660

Depending on the Phione model you have, it may fit into the Glove Box where you can
keep it charged up and / or connected for Music playing via the USB Port.

When Paired to the Trophy Audio system by Bluetooth,
you can answer Phone calls from the Handlebar buttons,
so you mnay not need to have the phone mouted where it is accessible.
( You cannot "make" a call from the handlebar buttons though ).

Alternatively you could look at a RAM mount in either the Clutch or Front Brake
Master Cylinder "Mirror" mounts ( Remove the rubber blanking plugs to reveal then ),
then attach a suitable cradle to the RAM Ball.

A "C" Clamp type handlebar RAM mount can just about be fitted right up against the left hand switch cube.

There's LOTS of information in the Forum for you, but if you haven't spotted it yet,
you might find this one useful - for getting to grips with the Menu system  :028: :

HOW TO: Navigate the Tropjhy Menu !

    Cheers  :821:
