I have them on my bike that I am selling. Keep in mind that it is a lot of work to install or uninstall the bars. You have to completely dismantle the bike down to the frame, engine, tank. All side pieces, fairings, and front pieces have to be removed.
I figure to sell my bike with the bars already on. I really like having them and fortunately, they haven't come into play since installed. They are expensive besides the work required to install. To get mine to fit properly, I had to get one side mount piece modified at a machine shop. I don't know if R&G have fixed the issue yet, but one side stuck out more than the other. They're perfect now.

I fitted a new set of these to my new Trophy a few weeks ago.
I'm quite familiar now with removing the Fairing, and can get both sides,
and the other front end pieces off, in about half an hour.
Following the instructions I didn't have any major problems fitting the Bars,
you just have to make sure you have the right tools - sockets & spanners, to hand when you start.
I don't know if R&G have fixed the issue yet,
but one side stuck out more than the other.
No such issue on mine - they protrude equally on both sides.
While they may seem a little on the expensive I wouldn't be without them -
in fact I'm convinced I wouldn't still have a fully working right leg
if I hadn't had them on my previous Trophy !
If anyone is considering buying them, try ordering through your Triumph Dealer,
( even though they aren't listed on the Triumph Web Site Accessories Page),
especially if that's where you bought your Trophy from,
as a lot of the Dealers will provide 10% Discount off Parts & Accessories
for their Bike purchasing customers.
( And even if they don't do so routinely - they might if you ask !
)
Cheers

Not sure that was an option when I ordered mine. If it is an option and you don't want to do the install yourself, the dealer would be a great way to go. They are quite used to dismantling the bike to service.

I didn't put on the crash bars as they appeared not to stick out far enough to prevent injury to person or pocket book if you laid your bike over as I can attest to having four times now and $2K lighter in the pocket. The crash bars would have not prevented scratching on the fairing according to the dealer. I basically hadn't recovered as much asI had thought I had from my brain injury and basically laid the bike over when not moving due to problems in balance. I laid the bike over on both sides and neither leg was crushed (just bruised). Hey, I can admit I had a rough time out of the chute after not having ridden for 30+ years. I can attest that I am back in the saddle again and have not come close to losing my balance and dropping the bike in over three months.

Gary, If you're not going to use yours, why not sell them to Garb ?
He's "only" 650 odd miles from you !

Hi Alan,
You misunderstood, I never acquired the Adventure Bars. Sorry for the misunderstanding!
Regards,
Gary
