If you bought this Trophy - did you not get the V5 / Registration Certificate,
with details of the previous "Keeper" on it ?

( First registered in the Brighton area ).

You could also have a look on the Members Map,
and send a few Private Messages enquiring if any of them have any knowledge
of that particular Trophy and / or it's former owner.

If the former Owner wasa Member of the Forum, and they have now sold their Trophy,
it's unlikely they will visit the Forum to see your message,
whereas if you send a PM to one of the Members on the Member Map -
near to where it was Registered ( I'd start with the most obvious and nearest 4 to Brighton ),
then if one of them IS the person you are looking for, they will get an Email notification,
to let them know they have a Private Message on the Forum  !   :028:

Out of curiosity - Why do you need to contact them ? - Is there anything "we" can help with ?

Thank You very much Coconut - You are very friendly.
Yes, I have V5 and other documents - but they are in Lithuania. I had too little time to carefully review them.
Main question - 20 kmiles service. I remember that the last entry in the service book was 18 kmiles ( now is 26 kmiles on the clock). I want to know if it was full service or just an oil change. I bought a motorcycle from company in Grimsby. It was not a Triumph dealer. The owner of the company was very friendly and answered all my questions - that was done 20 kmiles service too. I trust him, but I want to be sure, because 20 kmiles service is important (but expensive too and not everyone does it)

Hi dvarson, I understand your concern ...

Even if the ( Non Triumph ) Dealership had carried out a Service at almost 20,000 miles,
and had stamped the Service Book, there is no guarantee that all of the procedures that
are scheduled to be carried out 20,000 miles will have been completed, the most important
of which is the Valve Clearance check and adjustment, which is the main reason for the
20,000 mile service being so expensive, due to the extra work involved.

I would ASK the Dealership if they did this, and see what they say.

If they say "No", then at least you know.

If they say "Yes" then you have to decide whether to believe them !

Also, when you are able to, thoroughly check all of the paperwork you received.

"Usually" when a Service is carried out, a Check List is used, and the Technician makes a mark
against all the items that were completed, so if you have such a Check List that may help you.

Have a look at this Topic :

Servicing Data, Reference Info. & DTC ( Fault ) Codes

At the end of the first Post you will find a "Trophy Service Schedule" document that you can download.
This is a document I compiled after correcting some errors on the one published by Triumph !

Also within that Post you will find a Link to another Topic by another Member ( DataDavid )
where you can download a version of a "Scheduled Maintenace Check List"
to use for future Services, or Services that you carry out yourself.

    Cheers  :821:

Thank You for the quick replay Coconut.
Tomorrow I'll ask my wife to take pictures and send all the documents
I read and found a lot of useful information on this forum (that was before I bought the Trophy)
I like this forum and members
