Headlamp beam deflectors
« on: July 05, 2013, 08:42:44 PM »
Hi dudes! I'm off through France into Belgium soon on my first two wheeled adventure abroad with MCI tours. I bought a set of eurolite headlamp adapters but I am not that sure how to fit them properly. Just wondering what you guys do and if you can recommend a brand that are easy to fit for a thick yorkshire bloke like me! :125:

I was told the lights were 'centre dip' so they are the same as european ones already.

Hi Binnsy. I have never fitted headlight deflectors on any of my bikes when doing European tours and I have done several now.

Never had any problem either with the bike not illuminating the road properly or dazzling other motorists.

I don't think you need to worry!

Same here, I have never bothered and it has never caused any issues. Enjoy your tour

Thanks all for your input. Called at A1 Moto today and they said no deflectors required. Although I will keep the ones I bought under the seat just in case I get stopped!
Safe riding to you all  :152:
