What fuel consumption are you getting?

Did a run from Abergavenny to the horseshow pass last weekend, 156 miles, then home, another 103 miles, just done another little run out in the evening sun to wind down after work 57 miles so 316 miles before the fuel warning light came on!!!!
Filled up and put in 21.66 litres of fuel to the brim.
By my reckoning that is around 65 miles to the gallon!!!! That is bloody amazing! And part of that was on a tyre with a slow puncture!!!!!

65mpg
Are you mixing your fuel with Irish Whiskey?
That seems unrealistic...are you sure?...and I am hoping, seriously, that you are right.
I think I am in the 40s but I do a lot of city. I 'll check the computer display see what it says...I know I have never seen the number 60ish come across that screen for nothing else other than 'miles left in the tank'.
If I had money I wouldn't be on this board now

I usually average in the low 50s for a tank. I've seen the 60s for a short time...but can't seem to slow down enough to make it an average for the tank. lol

Well, lets do the math!
First, the miles.
Abergavenny bus station to Ponderosa cafe, Horseshoe path. 156 miles recorded.
Ponderosa to home in Worcester. 103 miles recorded.
Run along Malvern hills for fish and chips by the river and back home. 57 miles recorded.
So miles 156+103+57=316
Filled with 21.66 litres of fuel. 1 imperial gallon is 4.55 litres so it took 21.66/4.55=4.76 imperial
316/4.76=66.39
Riding was not, HARD, as we were in a group of 10 so keeping together in a group. But unless the bike odometer is seriously out, or my local fuel station gauges are wrong that to me is brilliant!
Please shoot holes in my math if it is there!

Sure I can believe 65 MPG easily. Because you are talking about imperial gallons.
1 imperial gallon equals 1.2 US gallons. So your 65 becomes roughly 54 in the US which is achievable if you ride reasonably
