Electrical Plug In

Hi Guys,
I have a question I'm hoping you can answer.  My TTSE (like yours) has a plug in on the left hand side by your knee that is always "hot".  I would like to use this port but it is smaller in diameter than the regular size 12V ports.  What size is this port and where might I find a plug that will fit? I don't even know exactly what it is called  Sometimes my ignorance is too much to bear

Hey Gary, it goes by several different names - Powerlet, DIN, BMW outlet or socket. You can find plenty of references to it through the Search function on the forum or google it.  Where you find references to the socket, plugs will follow.

You really should try using the "SEARCH" Button -

Click the SEARCH Button, type "power socket type" into the Search box and click "Search".

  Alan, I tried your search but still could not find the info.  I just want to know what the smaller socket is called and where you can acquire same to use for the bike.
