:046: Just need some time off and ride at this point.  Don't remember getting this wound up in a while now. :821:

The festivities start tomorrow evening. I hope the weatherman is wrong (or weatherwoman for that matter) as it now looks like we'll be dodging thunder showers a bit of the time.

I'll report back on the fun.
My mother asked what I wanted to be when I grew up. I said "a biker". She said I'd have to choose one or the other.

For starters the Park is gorgeous.  The lodge is a sprawling hulk of a thing with decent food and a good bar.  Got lost on the way in and turned a ten hour six hundred mile day into a fourteen hour just over seven hundred mile trip.  Weather was not near as bad as most feared.  Did get caught in a real frog strangler coming back to the lodge one day.  That morning BludyL put his bike under a guard rail  coming around an off camber wet with loose gravel on the edge camouflaged by the wet.  He is OK and has been checked out the bike is an other story.  Stuff can be replaced. Look forward to sharing a wee dram with him again.  After the rally I visited my daughter near by and rode home from there.
twelve hours of saddle time for that.  Bit over 1500 miles in the logbook for this one.
