Just to get started, here goes.....
July 2013 (bike brand new with 3000 miles on) 5500 miles to the Nordkapp in 2 weeks. A once in a lifetime trip.
June 2014 4000 miles in Spain with friends then the wife flew out and we went to Italy then home. Total of 4 weeks
July 2014 6500 miles to the Nordkapp in 3 weeks via Poland and Estonia (see first trip comment above!)
May 2015 9500 miles in 7 weeks to Ukraine, Romania, Turkey and Armenia, back to Turkey where wife flew out. Home via Greece, Albania and Croatia. Headlight bulb blew in Calais on way back. Used 151.4 gallons of fuel, rode for 214 hrs and 6 mins at an average speed of 42.6mph and got 60.3 mpg
June 2016 3800 miles in 2 1/2 weeks to the Alps
July 2017 6500 miles to Arctic Circle in Sweden, then south east to the racing at Imatra Finland. South through Estonia then east to Chernobyl and a half circle down to Oddessa. Home via Moldova and Romania
Aug 2017 4000 miles to Czech Repubilic for racing, then east to Slovakia and Poland. North to the Baltic coast
Have 65000 miles on now and only suffered the dreaded ignition failure which stranded me in Calais. Every trip was great fun.
Been to the local Triumph club a few times, but dont go on any of their organised rides out. A couple of the Bobber lads did suggest I joined them sometime to use my bike a bit more (honestly, they did)
    Here's to 2018

Rode from Coney Island, NY to the Golden Gate Bridge, CA in Sep 2016.  2930 miles in 46 hours 10 minutes.  A bit over 7000 miles round trip.

Numerous other Iron Butt Association certified rides.

34k miles on the bike so far.  Anticipating about 15k this year.

Roger, Wilko,  :001: I can't remember the exact mileage on each trip but every other year three riders plus myself take a western US trip from PA.  The first trip (2014) was just shy of 8000 miles to CO, UT, AZ and ID via WV, KY, IL, MO, KS.   The next trip (2016) was a bit over 8000 miles to MT, WA, OR, CA and NV via OH, MI, WI, MN, ND.  Both trips were 18 days and we hit a few different states on the way home.  This years trip to the west is in the planning stage but will be a 21 day plus adventure.  The one rider who still works is not going and has been replaced with another retiree.  On the off years we go to places like WV, NC and TN (2015) last year was NY, VT, NH, MA, and ME.  All trips have been without incident, thank God, with the exception of one when the Trophy let me sit in AZ with a starter button malfunction and a leaking final drive both repaired under warranty upon returning home.  Also had to change headlight bulbs in UT which left both hands looking like they went through a meat grinder.  Love the Trophy the best after having done similar trips on a 1987 Yamaha Venture, 2000 BMW RT and a 2001 BMW LT.

I've done many trips in the 500 mile range but last summer I did Wayne County Ohio to the Black Hills in South Dakota and worked my way into Montana and Wyoming. It was on the order of 3000 miles perhaps a little more.
My mother asked what I wanted to be when I grew up. I said "a biker". She said I'd have to choose one or the other.

Last summer rode from Ford City, PA to San Diego, California and back. The trip was 6700 miles and took 18 days. The Trophy averaged 52.7 mpg for the entire trip. The only problem during the trip was my Ezpass blew off near Wheeling, West Virginia on the way home. But, the next day after getting home there was oil on the floor under the rearend of the Trophy. Ended up getting the rearend replacement on warranty. :152:

Willko it's pretty easy to rack up mikes in the western US not so much in the east.  Anyhow sounds like you have a fine  trip planned.  Have fun, hope all goes as expected.  Here's too you  :821:
