    datatool magnet for reed switch

Does anyone know of an online source for a replacement magnet for the datatool reed switch which gets fixed below the pillion seat?   I just had my old stock seat converted to include a backrest via Utopia (get work).   I want the magnet placed under both seats if I swap out - Datatool doesn't seam to list the part on their website.

    Thanks in advance!

    Sincerely,
    Jordan

That's an excellent question - One I hadn't considered - and now realise that I need one too !

Have you tried contacting DataTool and asking them ( I'm going to ! )

    Cheers  :821:

    Thank you!

Looks a lot like this on Amazon.com - doesn't it?   May try this first - if unsuccessful, and if alright by you, I'll take you up on your offer and PayPal you the costs.

Do you agree?   Looks very similar!

And - that site doesn't deliver to the United States.   It might be more a matter that I live in New Jersey.

Maybe someone on the other side of the pond can get it for you and ship it to you? (you would cover the shipping costs obviously)

I'm a long-standing member on britbike.com (old British motorcycles) and have done this with a couple of different members over there. I've shipped something over there as well for someone that wanted something from the US eBay site, but the vendor wouldn't ship overseas.

We're an honest and helpful bunch, mostly!  :153:

EDIT: ...aaaaand, just saw Coconut's offer to help!  :047:

    Cheers,

    Steve

I really need to work on my reading comprehension.  When I saw Datatool I read it as Dealertool and could not figure out why that part wasn't included with my order.  Then I wondered why it would be needed......Oh well, I can only say it's too early but it's getting close to lunch for me.   :157:
