Remus HexaCone Exhaust System Weight

I have the factory exhaust system on my 2015, but Remus touts a much lighter system. I may be late to the party with this info, but I want to share some data from them regarding their Trophy replacement exhaust system. According to the brochure, Triumph's stock system weighs 7.94 kg/17.7 lbs. I believe their two options are Carbon and Titanium.
Total weight for Carbon: 3.27 kg/7.2 lbs
Total weight for Ti: 3.52 kg/7.75 lbs
Either would be significantly less weight over the course of a long trip. IMHO, that could mean longer tire life, depending on how you ride. I hope someone finds this useful.

I have thought about a carbon fibre exhaust, I had one on my last bike, cost £300, but, and it may sound silly , but I do like the stock one, but not the weight, now if I could get one the same shape in carbon

The Remus is pretty close, just a little shorter than stock. I think I saved something like 22 lbs on my K1600 by going to 2 Remus Ti.

Most of the weight of the stock exhaust is in the can. If you get a Trident can (forum sponsor), besides being hella cheaper than Remus, they sound and look great. I have the mini on my bike and I absolutely love it.

Glad to hear that AZBob, I recently ordered an oval carbon. Won't get a chance mount or use it until mid April. Am concerned it might too loud for touring, hope not.

I ordered Delkevic 18" oval and will receive it tomorrow. It's supposed to weigh 5 1/2 pounds. Probably won't put it on for a few weeks to see the difference in weight and sound.

Just took a look at their web site, good price. Have you used their product before?

I have not used them before but a friend has them on his zx1400 and quality looks good and they sound good. He has the baffles out so to me it's a bit loud. I will let you all know after I install them.
