2013 TT SE comfort.
« on: July 08, 2013, 02:36:55 pm »
Hi All--

How many of you ride two up on the new Trophy and what does the passenger think of the comfort levels.  If your coming off a different brand please include comparison comments.

Thanks,

About a third of my mileage is two up. Sarah says it is the ultimate in comfort for her. we had a CB1300 before this and that seat was good. The TT is just as good.

After an accident on my ZX12r which severely dented my confidence I did not take a pillion for the 7 years of ownership of my K1200S.
On getting the Trophy I resolved to fix that and gave a friend a pillion ride.

The resounding response was great comfort, great ride and lots of fun. The only word if caution was dismounting with panniers in place. Managed to catch the left hand one with his boot as getting off which left a big scuff in the paint! Grrrrrrr

Fortunately for him, it polished out!

I do mega mileage two up and the wife rates the comfort better than the Ultra we had before  :087: :087: And that was like an arm chair  :005: :005:

This bike is I'd say the best all round tourer out there on the front or the back.

Thanks for the feedback guys. My wife and I really enjoy back road riding but she has to be comfortable.  Chaos, is the Ultra you mentioned an HD?

My better half and I had been riding a Pan European St1100 for 12 years before switching to the Trophy. We bought the Honda for comfort considerations in the first place and I'm pleased to report that the Boss finds the Trophy even more comfortable than the Trophy: it says it all!

Back road riding? Is that a euphemism? LOL

I carry two different passengers on my the Trophy.  Much as I hate to say it, my daughter prefers my 955ST.  My son prefers the Trophy.
