Deal on a 2017 tanked but used 2014 popped up

I had hoped to purchase a 0 kilometers 2017 trophy but the deal fell through I suspect it was because I wanted to trade my bike in. Anyway I started looking for some used bikes and came across an ad for a 2014 with 12000 km. The seller is asking $11,000 Canadian, £6000, $8,000 US. The bike has heated seats, heated grips, the top box and came with the diagnostic attachment a dealers tool. I'm trying to go see it but what do you guys think of this deal? Anything about a 2014 I should pay attention too.

Thanks in advance for any comments and opinions much appreciated.
    Ed

I Have a 2014 TTSE that is relatively problem free.  Be aware of 2013 and early 2014 models; there was a problem with the engine cylinder head.
"The Cylinder Head "upgrade" only applied to Trophy models with VIN Number up to 602960,
after which the Modification was already incorporated."( Quote courtesy of Coconut"

Check that the Audio Software Update has been done -

    See here :

    Audio Module Battery Drain Problem

You can also easily check for any stored "DTC's" ( Diagnostic Trouble Codes { Fault Codes } )

    See here :

Servicing Data, Reference Info. & DTC ( Fault ) Codes - Scroll down to Reply #8  :028:

:028:Thanks Coconut for the information I knew about the software but forgot about the DTC codes, much appreciated.

Now about the blue being faster perhaps I will find out. I always thought black was the colour of speed.  :001:

My understanding is that blue is the fast one, but black is the stealthy one!
