As a past owner of a Tiger 1050, i admire the fixed fairing triple. I replaced the Tiger with a Victory Vision to accommodate a passenger. Now the passenger is gone and my son has the Vision. The Trophy is on my short list and i hope learn as much as i can from this forum. Cheers!

    Pop,

Welcome. Great buys out there on the TTSE. It's a great bike.

    Good luck with your quest.
My mother asked what I wanted to be when I grew up. I said "a biker". She said I'd have to choose one or the other.

    I had a 1050 2008 before I got my Trophy.
It took me a long time to make the decision to buy my Trophy.
I went to a few deals and looked at used ones from the 1050 to a Trophy was a big jump.
It was much larger than the 1050 and ever-time I seat on it it felt much larger than I wanted.
I was one of those that by the book would oil the chain, I replaced the chain Per the owners manual.
I liked my Tiger 1050 but the Trophy is the Big Brother to it.
Handling is much better than I had expected.
If you are going to travel the Trophy will be there for you.
Now is the time to buy as the 2017 is the last year they have made the current Trophy in the next few years When the new Trophy comes out it will be Aimed at the BMW 1600 as the 1200 SE has always been compared to.
