Had my old Zumo 220 lying around from the Multistrada (it was a freebee) so bought the Triumph mount and set about the bike with a sense of dread and optimism. 4 hours later - including a sausage sarnie stop - the bike is back together, all bits accounted for and working correctly.
I'm getting more and more impressed by the bike as i go along. Nearly all the pins were the same size, the panels all fit together well and the underlying finish is good. Very car like in it's unit construction. Good stuff.

did you follow the PDF to the letter, or any hints or tips you can share?

I followed the guide on the PDF - but as i had a different power cable, i probably took apart more stuff than was needed.
Just work logically. Screen off first, pull the mirrors toward you to access the pod inners and away you go. There are a couple of plastic screws and their matching mounts in the pods that hold the facia to the outer. Be careful not to drop them.
