Time to do it again.
Bigcountry wants to join us He's in the  New Orleans area.
 Maybe 25 May weekend we need to find a centralized location for us to ride into.
mmlanes is in the San Angelo area, trophied is in the San Antonio area and we have the other poor soles in the DFW area.
Were do we want to meet? 
June 8 weekend was Mentioned also.

June 8 weekend sounds pretty good to me at the moment.  Have to make sure my wife's calendar doesn't have some sort of conflict though.

Calendars change pretty fast for me.  But right now June 8th weekend is open.  What's central to West Texas and New Orleans?  Piney woods of East Texas?  Nacogdoches, Lufkin, San Augustine?

Stephen F. Austin is in Nacogdoches and you know how those college kids luv, luv, luv, their burgers!  Bound to be one there somewhere.

Ok I like the weekend of the "8" 9th Saturday.
Do we want to Meet Saturday and then leave Sunday or just leave Saturday?

There is a Clear Springs restaurant in Nacogdoches.  Same thing in between New Braunfels and Seguin and they also own Gruene River Grill here in New Braunfels and Auntie Pastas restaurants.  Everything from fish to chicken fried steak and really good onion rings.

  8 June weekend is good for me too.   I can meet anywhere.  I'll start looking at some maps before I offer anything.   Thanks for starting this thread 2Slow.

Thanks bigcountry for pointing me to this thread.     I check in the forum occasionally, but wouldn't have thought to look here.

I'm game as long as nothing crops up between now and then.  It's the first week of Summer vacation for the kids, so no sure if SWMBO has anything cooking that week.

I've ridden to the Sisters many a times and know of some good back roads from Houston.  We usually stay at a quaint little cabin in Campwood, away from the biker crowd in Leakey.
