    Cruise control not working

    Cruise control not working,  tried the; throttle,  clutch, frt brk, rear brake,  to no avail, any other suggestions

    Are there any "DTC's" ( Diagnostic Trouble Codes ) stored ?

    Topic  Servicing Data, Reference Info. & DTC ( Fault ) Codes - Scroll down to Reply #8.

    Things that can prevent ther Cruise Control from engaging :

    1.   Handlebar ON / OFF Switch set to OFF  :138:
    2.   Faulty "SET/-" Switch
    3.   Faulty Clutch Switch
    4.   Faulty Throttle Roll Off Switch
    5.   Faulty Front Brake Switch
    6.   Faulty Rear Brake Light Switch
    7.   Faulty Gear Position Sensor
    8.   Fault with ABS system and ABS Warning Lamp lit
    9.   Speed below 30 MPH ( or above 100 MPH )
    10. First, Second or Third gear selected Gear selected

    Go through the ENTIRE reset procedure in the right order.  It made mine work again.
    Year round rider here!

    i thought cruise control only worked between 40-100 mph?

    Owners Handbook Page 57 :

    To activate cruise control, the following conditions have to be met:
    The motorcycle is travelling at a speed
    between 30 to 100 mph (48 to 160 km/h) .......


    I will however, physically check this over the weekend !   :169:

    Still no luck on resetting the Cruise control,Tried to bring up the DT codes, Up arrow, "i" both together with no luck.

    what am I doing wrong?

    Sorry but I don't think I can help further from this side of the pond.

    If you can't get the DTC screen to appear using the method described,
    have checked all the things previously mentioned,
    and you don't have a "DealerTool" device,
    then I think your only option is going to be a trip to a Dealer  :191:
