    Stalling

Experienced an issue today which I can't explain.
So. Started the engine like normal but when I started to let the clutch out to pull away the engine cut out.
Pulled the clutch in again and it started OK but cut out again when I tried to pull away.
It did this 4 or 5 times.
I obviously checked the side stand was fully up and it was.
Got off and put bike on centre stand, started it and put it gear and let clutch out and it was OK.
Got back on and it was OK.
Worried it might happen again though!
Anybody come across this or got any advice??

How much has she on the odometer? Could be a worn clutch.

I don't think it's a Safety Interlock issue with the Side stand.

The way that works is that with the engine running, and the Side Stand DOWN,
the engine will cut out immediately - as soon as a Gear is selected,
without the Clutch lever being released at all.

    Strange one  :084:

If the clutch is worn, you have the opposite problem -- let the clutch out, vehicle goes no where and/or goes very slowly and/or you can rev it in gear; there's no danger of stalling because there's very little load on it. I don't think it's a worn clutch.

Got my annual service / MOT due next week so just rang the dealer to discuss it to see if they could shed any light or whether they have come across it before.

All they said was  "it could be a number of things so we really need to see it"

This morning it was fine again, so will see what it's like after work today.

    Definitely a strange one though.

You don't mention the engine revs/using the throttle, are you sure that that aspect of making the bike move were OK?
This bike has fly by wire throttle, could it be that that's playing up I'm thinking.
