When directly connected, my iPhone/iPod plays well through the speakers. When connected by blu tooth, however, its very quiet even on max volume. ??.
I have used the search button on here and found nothing btw.

What Bluetooth device?  If I'm not mistaken the Bluetooth output from the Trophy audio is fixed other than the fixed AVC settings for low, medium, and high, in the audio menu, and the volume is only controlled by the Bluetooth device it is paired to.

trophied is correct, but also check the Volume setting on the iPhone,
and make sure it is turned up !

For the benefit of anyone else reading this in the future,
and to satisfy my own curiosity, what was the solution ?

    Cheers  :821:

I went into the AVS menu, altered the volume but not much else. So I unpaired the iphone and the bike, dug out some blutooth earbuds I had and now use them when I'm on the highway! Sorry, not the answer you wanted but there you go! :001:

    I don't undertand that ! ?

"AVS Menu" ?- Do you mean the AVC ( Automatic Volume Control ) on the Trophy ?

You found a solution that works for you - that's the main thing  :047:

    Cheers  :821:

Regarding AVC (automatic volume control) , the manual is exactly clear but does it alter the SPEAKER volume AND the bluetooth volume (for headset use), or only the speaker volume ??
