Where does your username come from?

Also due to a lack of imagination, mine originated with my first name and telephone area code.  The numbers just came about when I attempted to create an account someplace and it kept telling me the account already existed......for about any name I tried to use.  It finally started suggesting name with random numbers so that gave me the idea of the Area Code.  Actually I've now seen the exact name on other sites I've never frequented so I may need to start something else for new sites.

Whenever I used a CB radio in a personal vehicle or commercial vehicle I would use the handle 'Road Hazard'. 

Fortunately, 'Safety First' has always been the motto I live by, especially when I'm being observed!  Not a serious bike accident since 1973, commercial vehicle accident in 1990 and automobile accident in 2011.  In each instance where an injury was involved I was the only person injured, thank goodness.

Mine comes from the fact that i am Welsh, hence Dragon, if i put up....Gwyn jones ....there would be another thousand or so with the same user name from all the members from Wales,  ......sorry to any South Africans out there after saturdays rugby result,

As a kiwi living in Aberdeen, playing rugby and working on the Nth Sea rigs it was often remarked that coming from NZ I must have had several close relationships with sheep. This was pretty rich coming from N.E Scottish folk.... Even when I lied  and said I hadn't it wouldn't stop so for an after-match function I took a rather attractive inflatable sheep called Baabara and some wag christened me Pete the sheep......

As Coconut recently put a link up to this thread I thought I'd revive it.

On a trip to the Isle of Skye with the XRV owners club (The real Africa Twin). At the pub in the evening, I was wearing a black sweatshirt and the collar of my white t shirt below was showing. Somebody said I looked like a vicar and as we were in Scotland it became McVicar and I was stuck with that name.
