Anyone know where I can get a replacement clip for the battery and glove box retaining screw? I took off the glove box cover and the clip fell into the fairing!

Take a look at Bike Bandit, it appears to be:

Triumph Trophy SE RH SIDE FAIRINGS,

    Item # 13, Captive boss, p/n T335102

    https://www.bikebandit.com/oem-parts/2014-triumph-trophy-se/o/m155995#sch807440

It's the same part number on either side - if that appears to be it, you should be able to order it under that part number from any Triumph dealer or Bike Bandit.

Take the Fairing off, ( See : HOW TO: Remove the Fairing ......)

... It's always good to get to know your bike a bit better  :169:

The missing Spire Bolt may fall out onto the garage floor while doing so,
but if not use a good torch and you'll probably see it,
then use one of those magnets on an extending stick to retrieve it   :028:

    Cheers :821:

Have seen similar fasteners on my vehicles before - may still even have one in my shop.  Wondering if they would work in this application?  Thinking I would go into the bike to retrieve the original, but that's just me.

A Napa auto parts store may have one, they have a lot of fasteners some of the other parts stores don't carry.  At least that's my experience in my area.

The  good thing is that you can ride forever with the one on the glove box missing.  I lost one and the auto and hardware stores had nothing that would do the trick. it took the dealer over a week to get a new one.  Altogether about three weeks and a thousand miles without it.
