High Beam headlight indicator light stuck on

My high beam headlight indicator is stuck on.  The Engine Management relay went bad a couple days ago and it was causing the headlight fuse to blow.  I put a new relay and fuse in and everything is working fine again minus the light being stuck on. The Hi/Lo beam switch works but does not kill the light.

That's a weird one,....have you any error codes stored or tried disconnecting the battery for a while?

Obviously that little warning light is receiving power even when it shouldn't, could a diode be at fault maybe? I'm not sure to be honest, good luck, would be interested to know the outcome.

I already tried disconnecting the battery I thought that might clear it also.

after riding for a couple hundred miles the light went off.  It fixed itself.

Exactly what my brother told my dad about a performance problem he had with his MGA 1600 (NO ELECTRONICS whatsoever) years ago.  I thought my dad would never quit laughing at that one!  None of my problems ever seem to "fix themselves".  I just must not be holding my mouth right.
