No more Triumph Trophy's being made for USA?

I went to my local Triumph dealer (and Yamaha, Kawasaki, etc too - they sell other brands) a few days ago, and walked around the show room.  I didn't see any Triumph Trophy's so I asked if they were getting in any more this year. 

That was when the salesman told me that they (Triumph) aren't importing any more Trophy's to the USA.

WTF - Right!!!!


So, I looked on the Triumph Webiste and didn't see Trophy's there either.  I emailed Triumph USA and they said the factory isn't making them. 

Anyone else know about this?


Is this permanent?  Are they bringing out another sports/touring model instead?

2017 was the last year for the TTSE.  Not sure if they plan to make a replacement.

I picked up a Tiger 1050 when they weren’t being made great bike.
I don’t really care if they’re making the Trophy now or not because I have mine I plan on keeping it for a while.
I would imagine that since every motorcycle magazine compared it to the BMW 1600 whatever it was they are probably looking at a Trophy 1600.
Wasn’t the original Trophy a 900?

I  remember the TR7 But it was the car I didn’t know Triumph made a TR seven bike also.

And I never got to test ride a Trophy - guess it the Yamaha FJR for me now.  Buying stock in Yamaha too!

FJR is a great bike and is what I would look at if I couldn’t find a Trophy to buy.
