atrophy. I have been following the Light with great interest. Australia was well represented in the placings, with ex pat Ian Green #16. Ian McPhee #24 and Martin Little & Rebecca McCallum #59. The Large V-Stream windscreen on Martin's BMW R1200RT was a gift from myself and my wife. Have to help out our local riders where possible. Also Ian suffered drive shaft problems [nothing new on BMW's] and was loaned another to finish. Great win for Jim Owen.

Yes, great win for Jim. He has been a very talented LD rider for some time.

Believe me when I tell you that Butt Lite is not a 5 day rally, it is ever bit of 6 loooonnnnggg days. My Trophy performed well. The rider not so much. Good plans but poor execution. A camera issue cost me dearly in points on the first leg.

Rick Armour was a beast on his beautifully equipped 2013 model and scored a 4th place finish. Don Duck's Trophy took a nap on a wet and muddy gravel road that cost him several hours waiting for assistance to get it upright again.

I learned a lot through this experience. I could do with a bit more of an organized top case and will be adding some better aux lights. Possibly will add some additional capacity to my water supply.
