I used some dry lube on the helical screw to help easy moving.  Any problem with this screw (out of line or dirt)  will make the windscreen erratic.  Luckily I did this when fitting the sat nav wiring so had the front end in bits.

The four pins that hold the wind screen to the arms do get sticky and need to be cleaned.Is easy the do and some dry lube works.
I must be going too fast for too long evey time i get back i'm younger!!
