    TT Tour 2019

Several years ago now, I took a wander down to Garmisch Partenkirchen on the German/Austrian border for the BMW Motorrad. I have to say it was a cracking weekend, free to enter, bike related stuff going on all day, amazing scenery, group ride outs and free bands to watch in a huuuge party tent on the Friday and Saturday nights. One of the best weekends I've ever had and a fantastic ride down through Belgium and Germany to get there. And I was on a Yamaha.........

I'm determined to do it again next year, but wondered if anyone would fancy taking a group of TT's down there?  Loose plan would be to get the Dover-Calais ferry (it's usually 1st week in July) Thursday lunchtime, trundle across to mid Germany, hotel overnight then down to Garmisch for the Friday afternoon, guest house for 2/3 nights and set off back on the Sunday or Monday.

I'm going either way, but it would be nice to meet some of you off here, ride as a group and sink a beer or three.............as well as thumbing a nose to the BM owners.......  :001:  Anyone fancy it??

Sounds like an excellent idea, but unfortunately, due to purchasing a house in Bulgaria, that requires full restoration, all my holidays / money will be tied up restoring the property ahead of me finally retiring, but I wish you well.

Sounds like a good plan! I'm game. I'll meet up with you in Germany, since driving down to Calais is kind of a diverson for me.
There is nothing noble in being superior to your fellow man; true nobility is being superior to your former self.

Great stuff! I'm hoping dates will be out by end of the year.

Great idea,  I'm up for it, although it might clash with the bosses plans as she has already booked a holiday to Japan.    Not sure how far my trio budget extends.
nut please keep me informed and I might be able to swing it.

You'll love Japan (If you've not been before) Phil. We did 2 weeks with Inside Japan in 2017 and loved every minute.

Back to you all as soon as I have dates etc, but looking like a possibly nice sized riding group!  :001:
