    Back from bulgaria.

    Evening all.
Well the TTSE went all the way to Varna and back, and I also introduced it to it's new home to be, in a village called Slaveikovo, 40 mins south west of there.
Apart from a bolt coming loose, my own fault, forgot to torque it up, and a headlight bulb blowing, everything was fine.
The only thing to complain was my backside, 4,  8 hr days, never
again, but as I said, the bike was faultless, 2 up, full luggage, averaging 80 -90 mph, or in kph...130.
According to the display it was returning 57.7 mpg and we covered 4156 miles, so, as my maths are rubbish, going on that basis, how much fuel did I use, I got it to 71 gallons, but im crap at maths  :745:

    Welcome back Paul !

    4156 divided by 57.7 is 72.027......   :028:

Try an Airhawk seat pad ( not cheap but worth the money if it works for you ! ).

I have a Russell Day Long Seat which is a HUGE improvement,
but for longer trips I may consider getting an Air Hawk too !

    Cheers  :821:

Does the display not tell you how much fuel was used (providing it wasn't reset). I'm sure mine does. Remember on long trips it will only record up to 99hr 59 min then stop. You have to note the readings so far and reset to zero
    Pleased you enjoyed your trip

    Hi 1675,
Pass on that question, I just set the trip meter, then changed it to kph when I crossed Europe, not changing it back when on British soil.
    All I know is this,
It’s a fantastic bike, and that the back of my thighs suffered, looked like nappy rash  :745:

Just to add a photo to prove I rode the bike to Bulgaria, here's a photo od my bike in a town called Providia, the wife was getting the water bills sorted for our new house in tthe next village. Sorry for the lack of photos, but i was on a time scale to get there for a friends wedding, not quite the jolly as some folks do.

A local chapter hog owner came to check my bike out, the wife and I was having breakfast at our hotel, he gave us a thumbs up, we saw him around the village a few time, he waved when he saw us.
