OK, I am a daily Trophy commuter rider so the bike sites out in the sun, wind and rain here in Tasmania. Is there any protective cover I can put over the seat to protect it from the elements? :084:

Why are you only concerned about the seat rather than the whole bike? I can imagine that the Australian sun can cause havoc with paint and plastics over time.

I could use a seat cover - to keep sea gull mess off. It seems they go for my bike when I refuse to share my chips with these scavengers. Anywhere else on the bike should rinse off  :002:

Not directly on-point and half a world away but I transplanted a sheep skin seat pad from my Dl-650 V-Strom to the Trophy bought from Alaska Leather.  I like the additional comfort but cleaning Gull Mess of might be worse than the original seat.  Would offer an additional layer of protection from sun and rain I think.  They offer few sizes and both long and sheared hair lengths. Looks like they ship Internationally but sit down when checking pricing I suspect.

I also have their Helmet Hitch for hanging my helmet up after a ride.

I forgot to add they used to offer a discount with "DEADSHEEP" as a coupon code.  For some reason I think it's been working for years but never really advertised.  Was 10% discount.

For just a waterproof seat cover you should look into http://kingoffleece.com/waterproof-seat-covers.html#seat-cover-a.  Works really well.

You might also consider a half cover for the whole bike.  I use this one for rallys.  https://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/oxford-umbratex-cover
