Hello All...just returned home with the Trophy SE. Great bike so far and looking forward to many long road trips and getting to know a few fellow owners.

Hi and  :400: to the Club !

Happy memories ( mostly ) of a trip to Arizona a few years back -
Stayed with friends in Mesa, then Rented a Harley Road King from Scotsdale,
did a bit of Route  66, Hoover Dam, overnight stop in Vegas,
then on for an overnight stop at the Grand Canyon with a helicopter tour over it the next morning.

Rode on around the Eastern Rim - could really have done without the throttle cable snapping there,
No Mobile Phone signal, and no-one around  :012:

My temporary repair is a story in itself - one for the Grandchildren in a few years time !

The short version of the story invloved riding one handed  ( left hand ) for far too many miles all the way to the nearest HD Dealers in Flagstaff, with my right hand pulling on what was left of the throttle cable that I'd managed to tie to the lever operating the fuel injection pump,
but the cable wasn't long enough to be able to hold on to the bars at the same time !
A "challenging" ride to say the least  :191: Especially being loaded up with two of us and plenty of luggage

Never going to have that problem with the Trophy  though !  :152:

Thanks all. Wow @coconut that's quite the story! Getting ready to ride to the Grand Canyon myself this next week to break the bike in.
