I started to take pics of the accessories that I removed from my rocket so that I can sell them and I began thinking of all the time I spent making the Rocket mine. I truly enjoyed all the good and the bad that came about as I explored the world of motorcycle customization. I have owned a few motorcycles but it wasn't until I was given a 1969 Moto Guzzi Ambassador, as payment for some work, that I started customizing motorcycles. Sure, in the past, I would add bags/top case or windscreen but never truly took time to manipulate parts to create different looks. I no longer have the Ambo but it inspired me when it was time to change things up on the Rocket.
Below is the beloved Rocket III that was sacrificed for my new Trophy.

Yes, but not really sure what direction to take. Vinyl wrap may be the way. I'm sort of a Dead Head and will be going to see Phil Lesh and Friends on Weds and Hot Tuna on Fri, so we'll see if I get any inspiration.

I kind of miss my Rocket III Touring sometimes. Just sometimes.
