Good news is that healing should go ok without going under the knife.  Toe had several fractures but is setting itself up well and should be fine.  Final word on TTSE yet to come.  Hardest part is being patient to know.  :087:

I can imagine the frustration. Only thing I can ask is a rethorical question; are you able to ride right now? No? Then, relax.  :821:
It's gonna be alright, buddy.

1675- Did you mean 'Oh deer, oh deer'?   :745:

I am taking it pretty easy.  I hate dealing with all the insurance crap, multiple claim numbers... My employer needs me approved for short term disab before I can return to work.  Been waiting a week on that.  Left message yesterday, no call back yet.  Tried the website- it's having issues.  Ridiculous really in my opinion.

But, good news.  The bike will be repaired!  Damage estimate from MC shop was $5500 ish.

Good to hear of the Good News  :028:

Now the challenge will be whether its YOU or your Trophy that are repaired first !

Even with slow shipping, I am thinking the TTSE will be ready first...

Wow...so similar to my own deer close encounter (even same colour TTSE). I think I hit mine at about 45 mph. I was lucky in that I didn't hit it head-on which may have resulted in my life taking a very different turn. It had just started charging across the road when it's head met the right front side of my fairing. I was also lucky in that I managed to keep the bike upright despite a brief high speed wobble. Deer was killed, bike and I were saved. It was mostly plastic pieces plus a tail pipe. Total was about $4,500 worth of parts which I replaced myself in an afternoon.  It does make one wonder if the universe is trying to tell you something.
