"Triumph" Stickers
« on: July 23, 2013, 06:53:50 am »
It's been mentioned before about the "understatedness" ( is that a real word ? ),
of "Triumph" in the new Trophy model.

In addition to the Union Flag decals I added to the fairing Union Flag Decals

I found these - also on E-Bay : Triumph Vinyl Stickers, and am thinking of putting one on the back of the Top Box.

It should end up looking something like this ( without the jagged edges from being cut & pasted in Paint Shop Pro ! ) :

What does everyone think - Over The Top or not ?

For me, your artwork is a bit overscale, but I like the idea. If found one the right size, I'd go ahead. I am still waiting for some Triumph stickers in the rounded triangle shape like that on the front under the screen.
Don't grow up, it's a trap...

Sorry, no, please don't don't put a Meriden logo on a Hinckley bike, it just looks so wrong.

you can order the one under the screen from the dealer parts list. I've got two on their way to me. I intend to put them on the tank, similar to those who have added a union flag. Cost me £11.34 for two including tax.
Part no is T3950110 description is Triumph Triangular Badge.
Enjoy.

Phew - Glad I asked the question !

You know I didn't even realise there was a difference in old Meriden and new Hinckley logos !

Scrapping that idea now - I think it was a bit too big anyway.

I want to put something there, it already has the triangular badge on the top of the top box.

How about one of these - measures 10cm wide by 4cm high,
which seems a much better size to fit in the same place ?
( Sorry the picture is quite small ! )
