Handlebar adjustment?
« on: July 23, 2013, 11:15:10 am »
Have you found the handlebars (and the brake and clutch levers) on the Trophy to be too horizontal? - I prefer a slight downward angle for comfort on long haul journeys. I've already posted in the "Newbie" section, but I have dropped the end of the bars on my March '13 Trophy SE by placing a washer under the 'bar mounting screw adjacent to the ignition switch, which has made quite an improvement. Ideally, for safe fitting, a thin wedge shaped spacer needs making to fit under all three mounting bolts on each 'bar, between the 'bar forging and the 'bar mounting plate which is attached (rubber mounted) to the top yoke. Anybody else tried this yet? Cheers, Steve.
