I don't sign on often, so it's sort of discouraging to see all the "sold my Trophy" posts.

I still have mine and love it.  It's been about 3-1/2 years and I only have 11k  miles on it.  I like to keep things until they are worn out.  I bet I have this bike a long time.

It's fast, handles well.  It's got all the creature comforts of the Trump Towers, more luggage room than an old Ford station wagon and every bit as ugly.

I'll be here for a while.

I still have mine too.  Had a 2013 for 45,000 smiles and bought a 2016 which now also has 45,000 smiles.

I'd change it for a new one too but for two reasons:

    1.  SWMBO says I'm too old for a new Motorcycle (very nearly 68!)
    2.  Triumph don't make them anymore.

    Love, light, and kindness,

    Dave

Now that I own one, it is amazing how many fellow riders approach me to say that they have never seen a Trophy before.

It makes me feel kind of exclusive.  :034:

Bought mine in 2013. It was a 2012 model which my dealership used as a demo bike, and had 900 miles on the clock.  Suffered the few recalls in the early days but it was sorted by Triumph without argument.   Recently I've been wanting a Bonneville again (A bike I owned in 1970 when I was 17) and thought I would have to sell the Trophy in part exchange which upset me no end as I love the big old beast.   It turns out I can manage to buy the Bonnie and keep the trophy (don't ask how, the wife authorised it and I didn't question her) so I have,  in my opinion, the best combination of Triumphs.   Trophy for long rides down the motorways and the Bonnie for whizzing around London.  I've gone for the 2019 Diamond Edition which I will pick up in April or May.

Just need to clear some space in the garage.
