I know.   :028:  I was looking at it last night after I received an email from Triumph.  Man, that is one sweet ride.  If only I had 21k to blow.  It would make a great commuter bike.  Or maybe just a ride on Sundays type bike.  Or just sit and stare at it in my shop type bike.  SWMBO would never go for it though. :151:

I love it.  Had a demo ride on one, then a Bobber, then the BonneT120.   Made my mind up to go for the Thruxton R.  I was in chatting to the salesman when I noticed on his computer screen the Bonnie Diamond edition which comes out in April or May this year.  Back to the drawing board as far as decisions were concerned.   Then my wife said " Hang on a minute, where am I going to sit?" to which I answered "on the Trophy".

But after a long discussion and her promise to contribute to the cost of the Bonne I'm going to the T120 Diamond Edition.  I think she was put off by the fact the Thruxton as classed as a Cafe Racer.  she thinks I'm 17 again and will go racing.

I've promised myself the Thruxton R will be my next bike in a year ro so.

    Phil

    Nah, not for me, please.
If I want to buy another bike I think I'll buy a Zero DSR or a KTM 390 as a commuter/funbike.
