Stuck Glove Box

Subject title says it all. The glove box will not open. The release button does not feel like it is being depressed when pushed down. Yes, tried in all configurations; ignition only on, bike running, etc. Any suggestions? I have a folded up one hundred dollar bill in there!

With $100 at stake I'd love to come open it for you, but the method is so secret I couldn't let you watch me while I did it!   Seriously, if you squeeze the opposing sides of the top at the push button area and pry up on it with the other hand you should be able to get just enough clearance on the catch to open it.  I've opened mine when it was stuck before like that.  Yeah, I know, makes you feel like it's a real secure little cubby, doesn't it?  I put just the slightest dab of silicone grease on the catch on the top and it hasn't ever been stuck since.  Don't use much, that stuff isn't fun to get off if it gets on anything.  Hope this helps.

Thanks, Glenn, I will try. I was a little shy about using any force. The c-note is an emergency fund, but if I get into the glove box and have occasion to get the bill changed, I'll send you five bucks.
