    Grip Puppies

Seeing as I said my standard grips seem to be wearing the other week, a couple of people said to fit grip puppies, well I took their advise and ordered some. I got around to fitting them today, they needed trimming slightly, and was so east to fit over the original ones, I have not ridden the bike yet with them fitted, doing that tomorrow. They make the grip thicker, obviously, but will stop the originals from wearing to a point where they will split / fail.

Wilko, easy job. I wouldn't be without them. Biggest benefit is opening up the grip for a more relaxed hand. Also if you have heated grips fitted the heat still makes it through to your gloves, just not as hot as without them. Cheers.

And, another benefit is they reduce handlebar vibrations at higher rpm’s.
Definitely one of the cheapest farkles known to mankind!  :017:

I have a set on my old grips and want to transfer them to the new ones. How would I transfer them to the new grips?

    Just slide them off.
I have been able to do that on previous bikes.
If you feel a lot of resistance, try to spray a little dish soap and water mixture between the layers. That will make the gripp puppies slide off easier.

The good news is, even if you tear them, the replacements won’t break your budget!
