Hi Mr Goodwill, 

Gibraltar is on my bucket list.  one of these days.....

How are you getting there?  The last time I did spain I got the ferry from POrtsmouth to Bilbao, a smooth crossing thanks goodness.   My only concern was I only had the bike three days and was not use to the weight plus pillion and luggage.   The bike deck on the ferry is was down below and the ramps were very steep.  I needed a change of underwear before I left the country.   If you are riding down, you've got the best bike for the trip.   I don't usually use motorways but if you are in a hurry the TTSE is built for the purpose.
