For those of us who run Rotella-T6 in our bikes (or whatever else) I just saw that you can get (3) 1 gallon jugs on Amazon for $61, and free shipping if you're a Prime member. That is a fantastic price; lower than many conventional oils.

I love Rotella-T6, I've used it in bikes/cars/trucks for a decade. It's the only oil I've found that oils the top-end quick in the cold, provides great oil pressure when it's 100 degrees, old and new machines like it and it's a great value. Thanks for heads up!

That's about 10% off Walmart's regular price, not bad.

I love it too, but it doesn't come in the weight specified for our bike so I don't use it in the Trophy. I do use it my two other bikes and one of my cars, though.

Have to agree with you there.  I'd use it in a lot of things, but not the Trophy.  The factory specifies at least a 10w and this is a 5w.  Odds are it would work just fine of course, but...

I know the DELO 15/40 was awesome in my GL1500.

I do 3 quarts T6 5W-40 and 1 quart of T5 15-40. I do a similar mix with my other bikes also. T6 is probably fine alone  40wt is the key number, the first number is the winter weight I don't ride in any extreme cold temps

TBH, it's not the cold weight I'm worried about (light oil right when the engine starts is a good thing), it's the operating temperature weight (40 vs. 50) that is way more concerning to me, especially since I operate my bike in generally very high ambient temperatures.

I have always ran 40 weight in liquid cooled bikes and 50 weight in air cooled bikes
