    First Ride of the Year

Well, I start up the air compressor tomorrow to pump up all the tires in the garage of which my TTSE will join the crowd.  Tomorrow it is supposed to be 79 degrees and with the sun shining.  It is time for the wimp to hit the streets!!  :005:  I probably won't drive far (maybe 40 or 50 miles) but enough to blow the cobs out and get everything up to normal operating range.  For far too long I have been a worry wart about my TTSE concerned about everything that could go wrong on the bike instead of just enjoying it and being glad it isn't a lemon (so far).  I will give a report tomorrow on my little adventure.   :180:

I'm right alongside of you Gary. I'm sure if you take your time you'll enjoy the time with the Trophy. Ride careful and enjoy the sunshine.  :046: :046:

My definition of a "ride" is not a ride to work, can I get an Amen?!

I rode thru the winter, but only ~10-miles to work and back, and only when there wasn't snow or ice on the ground. So there were several weeks in Feb where I was grounded, and multiple-day stretches of not being able to ride in Jan or Mar.

Finally! this past weekend I got out for a solid half day. :046:
("Honestly, honey, if you round down, it really was only a half day.")

I missed my bike! It was a joy to become reacquainted with that purr >4k and that steady pull all the way to 9-ish -- in every. single. gear. for hours and hours. I got the feeling again what a joy this machine is! I bought the right machine for me, that's for sure. I think I'm growing fonder every week. I only wish I could ride more...

Here's to a great 2019 riding season, all!

Having spent the vast majority of my career in jobs that didn’t permit me to ride a motorcycle to work, I would have been jealous of your ability to do so.

Now that I have been retired for six years, I am trying to make up for those lost “non-rides”!  :008:
