Well today was the day, a 100 mile trip home from the dealer gave a much better opportunity than the test drive. Comfort and smoothness, simply fantastic. 90 mph on the trophy felt like 40 mph on the rocket...note to self, look at the speedo more. It felt more stable than my previous dressed tourer (R1100RT) and handled sublime. I will probably do something with the (standard) seat. Very very impressed and looking forward to many more miles. Having been a police motorcyclist many moons ago how I would have preferred this to my mono seat STP1100. A marvellous machine and I am surprised it has been discontinued. The bike just makes sense to me and fits like a glove.
