New boots
« on: July 29, 2013, 09:05:07 am »
My Gortex Sidis were wearing out so I went shopping last week and bought some Alpinestars Gortex Touring boots. Sheer magic! very plain boots but soooooo comfortable. They also have thick soles which helps me when riding as I am a short ar*e  :745:

The rubber is also different to the Sidis in that it is a little softer and grips the floor much better.

They were not cheap (£170) but worth it.

Worth a look if you are in the market for a pair of boots.

I had to go and have a peek! Now if I had a '55 Triton and seaboot socks I would probably wear a set of these to go with my cork lined helmet and Lewis Leather studded jacket.  :745:
