Trophy ( 2012 0n ) Side Stand Enlarger "Foot"
« on: May 17, 2019, 07:41:43 PM »
Prompted by a Forum Topic I contacted the previous manufacturers of a Side Stand Enlarger "Foot"
for our model of Trophy.  They confirmed that production has ceased and no more will be made.

On checking they found that they still had just two of these left, and reduced the price
from £46.00 to £40.00..... So I bought them both !

I have fitted one on my Trophy, and the other one, being the last one available - ever -
is offered For Sale here at that price, plus the cost of postage.
( UK Postage will be £3.55 for 1st Class "Small Parcel" Post ).

Willing to post a photo of the bottom of the bottom piece?

I'd like to see if they are flat head screws or more integral to the plate.

Thanks

Coconut, perhaps you could contact them again, and ask if they would be willing to build a “pre-sold” order if enough folks on this Forum are willing to purchase them?

Maybe they might tell you how many would need to be ordered to make it worth their while?

Rick05,

I'm not sure how they are fixed in place, but the heads of the scews are machined flat,
so that the complete footplate which sits on the ground is flat.

Cheers  :821:

I was very fortunate to be able to buy not only the side stand enlarger, but a factory manual, plus inner pannier bags from a previous owner from Bombala, New South Wales. He unfortunately had crashed his Trophy and I was the lucky purchaser of his items. Like Coconut has shown, the foot enlarger does exactly what it's intended to do. I have never had an issue with the bike sinking into soft ground since I fitted it. But I am cautious where I park my bike.  :821: :158:
