It has been pointed out that there’s a lot of people that own Trophies in Texas.

I went about to see why.

    1. More Triumph dealers in the state?
    2. Longer Distance is to travel in Texas and the Trophy is the best tool for the job?
    3. Big state so more area to have more owners?
    4. Don’t want to be part of the normal Pack ,,, HD’s ?

What ever makes more Trophy owners in Texas it makes it fun to see others who share Similar interest.

I started with a Triumph Tiger 1200, I love the engine but wanted more range and better weather protection. I would love to see the Trophy re released with the updates that the Tiger has.

I was looking for something more commuter friendly than my VROD.  When I was shopping, nothing matched the bang for the buck of the Trophy.  Believe it or not, it was difficult to find a shop local to me for a test ride.

I guess our nature is to lean a little more toward item #4, why else would we be "Twisted" Trophies. :745:

I think that most Trophy riders are going to ride and I do mean RIDE I think that that that we want to ride!!!

When I was on a Tiger 1050 I met a Trophy owner and he is a Iron Butt rider,,, I did a Iron Butt ride run out Irving TX the "Stadium Tour"  after the gas stops I found that my Tiger 1050 was not the Triumph that I needed.

I have always flown where I was going and it was OK but I was missing a lot,.
After all I think we in Texas have more than a few miles to go!!!!!!!

If I was traveling east to west and entered Texas at Orange, from Louisiana the road sign indicating El Paso 850 miles would be terribly depressing, since more than half of that is wide open as far as the eye can see.
