Hello to everyone out there.  Just purchased a used 2014 TTSE with only 4K miles.  Came off a 2014 Honda CB1100 and before that a 2008 BMW 1200 RT.  I’m really liking the TTSE and this forum.  Lots of good info on here.  My only complaint so far about the bike is the annoying vibration felt through the handlebars at cruising speed. I ride a KTM 250 two stroke for motocross, so I’m no stranger to vibration, but this is different.  The Trophy transmits a sort of high frequency vibration through the bars.  I don’t really feel it in the seat or pegs.  Anyone else experience this, or am I just being picky?

Anyways,  I’m looking forward to putting plenty of miles on the bike with the wife on the back.  I prefer to do my own maintenance, so I will be using this website and asking plenty of questions to all you knowledgeable peeps out there.  Cheers!  :821:

:400: to the forum.  I have R&G bar ends on mine that are heavier than the OEM's and they lessen it some and I also put "Original Grip Buddies" on mine and not only does the increased diameter help, but they also dampen the vibration some.  Coming from a Beemer you've probably heard about the Grip Buddies from several members of that group.  A number of members here have Grip Puppies (very popular) and probably some others.  I came off of a BMW K1600 and I still didn't find the vibration terrribly annoying before I added anything, but now that I'm taking some longer rides I'm betting it's making a huge difference on long days and I just don't know it.

Welcome aboard from the other end of the state!  I also use Original Grip Buddies, although I really didn't have any noticeable vibration at any speed prior to that.  I just use them on any bike I've owned for the purpose of comfort.  Maybe a front tire issue?  I have almost 75k between my 2013 and 2017 Trophies, and I can tell you that they're easy to ride all day long with no problems.  You've made a great choice in the Trophy and this forum.  Enjoy & ride safe!

Bodizafa,  :400: to both Trophy ownership and of course the Forum. Having put over 60 thousand k's on my 2016 Trophy I'm not sure what you mean regarding "vibration". The 3 cylinder Trophy engine is extremely smooth and in my opinion vibration free. I can't be of any more help with your dilemma. Persevere with it for awhile longer till you become more used to the engine. Cheers.  :821: :158:

Hi Bodizafa, amd :400: to the Club !

Grip Buddies / Grip Puppoies or simialr are the answer,
together with maybe modifying your Riding style slightly
so you don't hang on to the Grips quite so tightly, when you don't need to.

    Cheers  :821:

Ok, well it sounds like the consensus is grip buddies and maybe some heavier bar ends.  I'll give those a shot.  Thanks!
