    Cool Covers seat cover

Received my seat cover from Cool Covers and installed.  I've been happy with the standard low seat but when it gets hot here in the Southeast it can get uncomfortable.  This cover gets a little space between me and the seat to provide for some air circulation.  It seems to work well - I've been riding it all week to work, only 40 miles round trip, though.  I hope to get some miles on it soon.

That looks nice! Please be sure and give us a report after a longer ride.

I'm not the brightest person so to clarify this is a "cover" and not a seat re-upholstery?  From my reading, it appears to be a cover that can be installed by the owner/rider but want to confirm.  For now, I'm using a medium sheepskin pad from Alaska leather I brought over from my Suzuki DL-650 V-Strom that is working OK.

Yeah, Rick, it's a cover and can be easily installed and removed by the user.  This one is fitted specifically to the TTSE.  There is also one for the pillion but I rarely have anyone on the back.

So far it appears to be working well.  I'm hoping to put a couple of hundred miles on it tomorrow.

Well, I've been able to put several hundred miles on the Cool Cover seat cover now and I'm very happy with it.  It does keep my tail end more comfortable in hot weather - we've been seeing a lot of high 90 F temperatures with high humidity, here in NE FLA.  In rain, it keeps the water from pudding up underneath you.  If the bike's been sitting in the rain, there is no sensation of sitting on a wet seat.  I've ridden it in some light rain and some pretty heavy stuff.  It appears to work as advertised.

Likewise when I ordered it Traxx, the website indicated out of stock.  They build it upon ordering.  I don't recall how long it took, but it got here pretty quickly.  Built and shipped from England took less than two weeks, if I remember correctly.

Thanks for the info! I sent them an email first and John confirmed that if I order today, it will get made tomorrow and shipped Monday (and yes, it's ordered)  :002:
