Hello from Southern California

Just picked up a 2013 Trophy.  It will be used for commuting but this weekend I'm taking it up to Big Bear Lake and I am hoping to convince my wife to do some longer trips.  This will also replace my current commuter, a 1987 Honda VFR700 Interceptor.  Looking forward to learning everything I can about the bike.

Welcome to the gang, Thrashed!  You'll soon find that San Dimas to Big Bear is like a short jaunt to the local 7-11.  Plan on much longer trips; the wife will like them as well!  I've commuted on mine for the last 6 years, with many 9-10 day trips on the bike.  Good thing we can ride all year!  Enjoy & ride safe!

Thanks, everyone. Already learning cool things like how to slightly pivot the bars up for a bit more clearance and to get my hands out of the mirror.  Cool thing is that everything on the bike is functional so no repairs needed.  Also cool because yesterday when I left home I only got 1/4 mile away when my rear low-pressure light came on.  17PSIG is definitely not enough, but given the size of the nail in the tire I was surprised there was that much left.

That could have been "interesting" on the first decent bend, if you had not been alerted to it !
