Using the USB memory stick
« on: August 03, 2013, 06:42:15 am »
For the first time I just tried to use an USB memory stick with MP3 files on it.  Trophy says no device found. Is there some trick to using USB?  I don't believe the stick is defective.  Works on my computer.  I know I could put them on my iPhone but I don't want to take up all the space on my phone with these MPs.

Try formatting the stick on the computer and be sure to select FAT as the file system. That should do the trick.

agreed, experienced the same, it's apparently an issue with the type of files contained on the memory stick, (I'd posted about it, see memory stick play loops)

Thanks guys. I'll give it a try today.  I've never formatted a memory stick before.  How is that done?  Surely not from DOS?

Got the USB to work. Thanks to all.  Of course I still have the problem with the Bluetooth skipping
