    SOLD: Brand New Corbin seat

***SOLD***  Hi all...I bought this seat because I was planning to customize the rear half to be a flat platform, but I've decided on a different approach, so I'm selling this. It's brand new. I bought it a couple of months ago, and rode on it back and forth to work one time, so I guess technically it's used...100 miles maybe.  It looks amazing on the bike too.

This thing is big and heavy, so shipping it would be pretty rough. If you live anywhere near me (go for a weekend ride maybe?) it would be best for you to come here to get it and strap your OEM or other seat to the pillion and ride home. But, if you want me to ship it I will pack it well, and send it via USPS at your expense.

I paid $780 shipped for the seat. I'll sell it for $400 plus shipping.

    ***SOLD***

I'm interested in this seat but I live 15 hours away. I have some questions though. The stock seat for these bikes, for some irksome reason, is the low seat; how does this seat compare in height. Also, and I don't mean to be difficult, but can you post a picture or two of your bike with the seat installed?

It's higher than the stock low seat, and lower than my RDL seat. As a frame of reference, the RDL is too tall. I'm 6'2" and I have to smash up against the tank to even approach having 2 feet securely on the ground.

I will get some pics for you, but if you go to the Corbin site you can see pics of the seat on the bike right now, if that helps.

Ok, here are some pics of the seat on the bike. I agree that the OEM seat being the 'low' version is annoying, but if the non-low one is as awful to sit on as the low one, who cares? Terrible seat. I mean, ow. Anyway, I would characterize this seat as being at a standard seat height. It is tangibly higher than the OEM US seat (the low) but it isn't as high as my RDL seat. As I mentioned, the RDL seat is too high for me, even at 6'2". I am planning to have my RDL redone (I bought it used and it's too soft for my prodigious mass), and when I do I'm going to ask if I can get it about 1" lower.

This seat is very comfortable (hard to go wrong with wide and flat), and looks fantastic on the bike, as you can see. In fact, looking at these makes me want to keep it :)  Hope this helps.

That's not a garage.  Way too clean and organized.

If I took a picture of my workbench right now you'd revise that statement to 'I guess that was a workbench before the explosion.'

That looks great! How much for shipping to Maryland? My zipcode is 20657. Its not the exact color scheme that i was going for but $400 plus shipping is better than new. Do you do PayPal?

I'm going to guess that shipping will be around $65-$70 or so.
