missfire at low speed in traffic
« on: July 28, 2019, 06:53:29 PM »
Hi I am new to the Forum and I have a triumph Trophy 1200 year 2001.
I have recently purchased this bike and was informed the head gasket was leaking. I have done the gasket and the valves etc. The problem is that at low speed the engine miss fires at low speed on circles etc. If I open the throttle it is good after around 20 mph.
Any help please.

H iMiddler and :400: to the Forum !

This Forum is dedicated to the latest Trophy model ( 2012 onwards ),
although everyone is welcome here, and discussions on Triumph Models
other than the latest Trophy can ( and should - to avoid any confusion )
be held in this Section : "On Two Wheels - Bikers Chat"

Consequently , the availablity of our Members to help you with advice may be quite limited.

There are other Forums and Groups dedicated to the previous Trophy Model,
that you might find more helpful - Google "triumphrat.net/trophy 3 & 4"
and Search Facebook for "Triumph Trophy 1991-2003"   :028:
